Navigating the UCA Online Application Form: A Step-by-Step User's Guide

Dear Applicant,

This User's Guide has been designed to help you complete the UCA Online Application Form for the University of Central Asia.

Some Advice

  1. To open our UCA Online Application Form, we recommend using Internet Explorer for best results. You may also use Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.
  2. We recommend that you review the admission requirements before you complete the online application.
  3. If you have already registered in online application, skip step 1.

Step 1: Account Registration

  1. Visit the UCA Online Application Form website
  2. This will take you to the login page. Click the "New User" link to register for an account, as shown in Figure 1.
  1. Create your account by entering your personal email address and password as requested.
  2. Your password must have at least 7 characters including one special character (@, #, $, %) and one number: (e.g. Bishkek@12).
  3. When you click "Register" you will receive a registration confirmation/verification email at the email address you have provided. If you do not receive a confirmation/verification email, please check your Spam/Junk folder. Go to your confirmation/verification email and click on the link provided.
  1. This will take you to the login screen (see Figure 1).
  2. Enter your email address and password. This is the same email address and password that you created in Figure 2. Click "Login".

NOTE

The personal email address should be the one you will use throughout the admission process.

Create only one account using only one email address.

If your registration confirmation/verification email is not received within a few hours, you may contact at apply@ucentralasia.org for assistance.

Step 2: Creating your Personal Page

  1. After successfully logging into your account, the following pages (see Figures 3a and 3b) will open:
  1. Complete the required personal details on the page to create an application, as shown in Figure 3b.

If the name of your city does not appear in City/Town look-up, enter city name in "City/Town Name" box.

When you click "Save" you will move on to the next page.

  1. The New Application page allows you to select the programme for which you are applying, including the country where the programme will be offered.

After choosing your programme, click the "Create Application" button and the system will show a confirmation message. See Figure 4 above.

Only if you are sure about your choice, click "Yes" to continue.

NOTE

An application once created cannot be deleted.


On the next page, you must carefully read and agree to the following. Click on "I agree" box, then press "Next" to continue:

  • Note on Admission
  • Declaration regarding statements
  • Disclaimer for personal data collection

On the next page, you must carefully read and accept the Application Checklist:

Click on "I agree" box, then press "Next" to continue.

On the next page, you will define your second choice and then click "Save & Next".

  1. After selecting it, please make sure that you have selected it as "Choice #2". The system will take you to the next set of pages where you will be required to enter related information.

Step I: Education Qualification

On this page (Figure 6), you must enter all academic qualifications, one at a time. For example:

  • Start with Grade 11 or the last applicable grade (e.g. Attestat for Grade 11, etc.) in the section where it reads Education Qualification.
  • Enter the Name of the School/Institution from where you obtained this qualification.
  • Enter the City/District of the school.
  • Enter the Country of Study of the school.
  • Enter the Year of Admission (when you started studying in the School/Institution).
  • Enter the Year of Completion (if not yet completed, check "Result Awaited" box).
  • Enter the grades for English and Math subjects
    • To add these subjects, click on magnifying glass next to "Subject" box, then choose ENG; then click on magnifying glass next to "Grade" box and choose your grade.
    • Click on [+] to add one more subject. Repeat the above steps but choose MATH instead of ENG

If you are awaiting final grades, you must click the "Results Awaited" box.

After you complete a "qualification", if you have further qualifications to input, click on "Save & Add New Qualification". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed adding all your qualifications, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step II: Alternative Testing

This page is dedicated to SAT Test!

If you are NOT taking SAT and SAT Essay Test, if you are planning to take UCA Admissions Test – do not fill in this section. Leave it blank. Simply press "Save & Next" to proceed to the next page.

If you are planning to take SAT and SAT essay test – fill in this page as follows:

  • Choose New SATI in Test ID section
  • Indicated the date of SAT test
  • Choose the country where you will be taking your SAT test and click "Results Awaited" box

If you have already taken SAT and SAT essay test, you can submit your scores as follows:

  • Choose New SATI in Test ID section
  • Indicated the date when you have taken SAT test
  • Choose the country where you have taken your SAT test
  • Indicate your scores as requested

After you complete this section click on "Save & Next". The system will take you to the next page automatically.


Step III: Enter Parent/Guardian Information

You can enter up to two individuals on the Parent/Guardian information page.

After you complete ‘Parent/Guardian Information', if you have further information to input, click on "Save & Add New Relationship". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed adding all your Parent/Guardian Information, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step IV: Participation Summary

When you have selected the list of all programmes which you have participated in, and other universities in which you would like to attend, please click "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step V: Upload Documents

  • Copy of your passport/national ID
  • If you are not a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, you must upload a copy of your official high school/institution transcript

The files should be uploaded in PDF or JPEG (JPG) format and size should not exceed 1 MB.

To upload a copy of your passport/national ID:

  • Click on magnifying glass next to Document Type box, then choose National ID;
  • In the Document Name section type the name of the document (for example: national passport);
  • Click on Upload, choose the file to be uploaded;
  • Wait until the document is uploaded, this may take several moments;
  • Once the document is uploaded, it will appear at the bottom grid.

To upload a copy of your official high school/institution transcript, follow the same steps except:

  • Click on magnifying glass next to Document Type box, then choose Educational;
  • In the Document Name section type the name of the document (for example: high school transcript);
  • Click on Upload, choose the file to be uploaded;
  • Wait until the document is uploaded, this may take several moments;
  • Once the document is uploaded, it will appear at the bottom grid.

Once you have uploaded both documents, they should appear at the bottom grid.


Step VI: UCA Admissions Test Centers, how you learnt about UCA, Passport size photo

  • Choose you preferred Test Center where you will take UCA Admissions Test and Math Section Instructions language.
  • UCA Admissions Test is conducted in English. But you can receive a translation of Math Section (open-ended questions). Please indicated the preferred Instructions language.
  • Please share how you found out about UCA.
  • Finally, upload a 1 MB passport size photo showing clear full face & current appearance. No selfie or party photo!

Submission Guidelines

Before final submission of your UCA Application form, information can be updated on the online application. You can only make required changes or add additional information before you submit your final application.

Before "Submitting" your application, please review all the information that has been entered in the earlier pages.

After reviewing all the information, click "Save".

Click the "Submit" button. After submission you will receive an application confirmation email with a copy of your application form attached.

You will be required to submit the supporting documents through email at apply@ucentralasia.org. For a list of required supporting documents, please visit www.ucentralasia.org/admissions
