ICDL Testing Centre Equipment Donated to Schools in Southern Kyrgyzstan
The University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) transferred laptops and Microsoft Office software to schools in Southern Kyrgyzstan to create International Computer Driving License (ICDL) testing centres in March 2020.

UCA Offers 90 Beds in Naryn for COVID-19 Emergency Response
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Central Asia (UCA) has offered facilities for 90 beds on its Naryn campus grounds. These preparations are part of the emergency plan for Naryn (Kyrgyzstan) to mitigate the against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Preparations are underway to build and set up the facilities at UCA’s campus construction offices and sports bubble.

Water Resources in Central Asia: Thinking Beyond Scarcity
Despite the abundance of water sources in Central Asia, residents in many villages still do not have access to safe water due to the lack of necessary infrastructure. Villagers are facing difficulties daily, as some family members have to walk long distances to fetch water for drinking purposes and household needs.
