University of Central Asia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) signed a memorandum of cooperation on 5 July 2011, for SPCE to train the Kyrgyz Republic’s Penitentiary System Reform Project correctional facilities officers. The project was implemented by UNODC with support from the European Union.

The Kyrgyz Küüs: Analysis, Thoughts, and Opinions, Volumes I and II (Kïrgïz küülörü: Iliktöölör, oylor, pikirler, 1-2 kitep) published by the University of Central Asia, was launched today at Bishkek’s Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

From 23 – 25th July 2011, Khorog’s Central Park was host to the fourth annual “Roof of the World” Festival. The University of Central Asia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) Khorog, along with other international agencies supported the participation of Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan musical groups in the festival.
