Abstract
In the past few years, the global job market has seen increased competition between companies in search of talent. The Covid-19 impact is seen clearer by each day, making the change from a candidates’ market to a companies’ one, in most sectors, with few exceptions. Many people have lost their jobs, or they feel insecure in their current role and have started searching for new employment. In this challenging market, how do you stand out in a pool of thousands of applicants? In this lecture, you will find out what are the common mistakes in CVs, what you need to consider when writing your CV, as well as when applying for a specific job. In addition, the lecture will cover how to prepare an interview, and what you need to keep in mind during and after an interview. 

Biography
Roxana Giubernea is an international recruitment professional with 13 years of experience in companies of different sizes and business models across the European market. She worked with small entrepreneurial companies as well as global creative organizations. Roxana supports candidates and managers across areas and levels of seniority, from finance to logistics, from marketing to industrial engineering, from software development to customer service, from product and project management to digital design. Roxana believes that everyone should have the chance to find clarity and confidence to reach out to their professional goals. That is why she dedicates to helping those in need of a job or in search of new professional opportunities, by providing professional consultancy on CV writing, job-search strategies and preparing for interviews.
