AKHP Public Lecture: The Influence of Environmental Factors on the Biodiversity of the Fruit Crops of the Western Pamir
This lecture will examine the influence of climate change on responses to environmental challenges faced by local fruit crop varieties in the mountains of  Western Pamir. Research was carried out under various environmental conditions. Each district of the Western Pamir has its own microclimatic features. Among the local fruit crop varieties  that have already adapted to the mountain conditions include mulberry (Morus alba L.), common apricot (Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.), apple (Malus Mill.), pear (Pyrus L.), walnut (Juglans L.), almond (Amygdalus L.), cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.), hawthorn, etc.

Ecosystem Restoration in the Context of Maintaining the Biotic Potential of Environmental Regulation (through the example of Kyrgyzstan)
This lecture is devoted to an analysis and discussion of contemporary research into the role of natural ecosystems in the establishment of favourable living conditions for every organism, including humans, both locally and globally. In addition, the audience will learn about measures to protect natural ecosystems, such as the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems, the creation of protected areas, including micro-reserves, and the promotion of other conservation initiatives as alternatives to the destructive use of natural resources, which have been developed and popularised in the works of scientists such as Professor Emil Shukurov, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, and Professor Victor Gorshkov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
