AKHP Public Lecture, Bishkek: Different Journalism in Kali Yuga Era
The lecturer will encourage us to think about pending issues and complex challenges that the current age puts forward in contemporary journalism. The politicization of media and manipulation of mass communication have cast doubts on its very foundation – freedom of speech and ethics code of journalists. The growing disparity between traditional and social media and the normalization of “fake news” puts journalists and the thinking public in a difficult situation. There are no universal solutions, and each journalist has to make his or her own choice. The lecture is aimed at representatives from the media and the general public.

AKHP Public Lecture, Dushanbe: Formation of Personality Through Music: Simple Conversations and Complex Subjects
The way a pianist uses undertones and technical solutions are often interconnected with how that person understands music and their own self. The process of playing and training highlights the various sides of human individuality (both strong and weak), and such dialog facilitates formation of human personality. Dilbar Khakimova will cover the the importance of in-depth and honest dialog between the musical script (composer) and its interpretation (by the performer) in the education of the young generation, as an efficient pedagogical approach to formation of personality. She will also present theoretical conclusions, and substantiate them with examples from her pedagogical experience.

The lecturer will present conclusions based on his own field research, and studies of academic literature.
